Note: You cannot check your application status inside the online application. Applications remain active for 12 months.
Greenville Technical College has an open-door policy; however, individual programs have specific requirements. Please see program pages for details.

In order to enroll, state law requires that you must verify your citizenship or lawful presence in the United States by submitting the Legal Presence form (pdf) and providing one of the following documents.
U.S. Citizens:
- Valid South Carolina (or most other states) driver's license or permit
- Valid state-issued photo identification card
- U.S. birth certificate & photo ID
- U.S. passport
- Military identification
- Certificate of naturalization
Non-citizens: All foreign documents will be verified through Government Databases.
- Permanent resident card
- Current/valid non-U.S. passport
- Current/valid visa
- Work Authorization Card
You can find out your application status here. If you have applied in the last 12 months, you do not need to re-apply. You cannot check your application status through the online application.
